Gallery walls and garden paths.

Laura and Jeremy chose a museum setting for their wedding day, using the architecture and artwork as the visual backdrop for the celebration. Inside the galleries, portraits feel almost editorial, with framed paintings and soft lighting creating a dramatic contrast against the couple’s modern look.

The result is striking. In several images, Laura and Jeremy sit beneath a wall of classic paintings, the scale and formality of the artwork framing the moment in a way a traditional wedding backdrop never could.

Step outside and the mood softens. The surrounding gardens offer a completely different atmosphere, with winding paths, blooming flowers, and warm natural light that gives the portraits an almost storybook quality.

Live music from Wilmington String Ensemble and a thoughtfully prepared menu by Savora Catering added to the experience, creating a celebration that felt refined but relaxed.

For couples drawn to art, architecture, and spaces with built-in character, museum weddings offer something unique: a setting that already feels curated.
