That sunset.
Golden hour along the Delaware coast shifts quickly, and Jen and Dan hit it at the right moment. After their waterfront ceremony in Rehoboth Beach, they stepped onto the dock as the light softened into pink and peach.
The design stayed within a coastal palette: soft blue bridesmaid dresses, patterned blue linens, and white florals. The ceremony overlooked the ocean, with chinoiserie vases filled with blue and white blooms clustered along the ground and elevated on pedestals, framing the aisle and creating a strong visual moment.
Dan looked sharp in a white tux jacket with a black bowtie, while Jen wore a floral appliqué gown paired with a white calla lily bouquet. The four-tier cake echoed the appliqué detail of her dress, with a single blue tier layered among the white. It’s a small move, but one that ties the entire design together—and the kind of detail we don’g see often enough.
Dinner was set beneath a sailcloth tent, a structure well-suited for waterfront settings. Long tables and woven chairs paired with blue and white tablescapes created a clean, cohesive look as guests settled in for the evening.
This is how you do a Delaware coastal wedding.
