Daisy grew up spending summers along the Delaware beaches, a place her family has returned to for years and one filled with some of her happiest memories.
For a while, she and Adam considered getting married in Portugal. As those plans became increasingly complicated, coming home to Delaware suddenly made perfect sense.
“Portugal is beautiful, but it doesn’t mean anything to us,” Daisy shared. “The Delaware beaches are where my family has spent summers my entire life, where Adam proposed, and where our happiest memories were made.”

Back to the Delaware Beaches
Daisy and Adam exchanged vows in an intimate church ceremony near the beach.
“The pews were packed and our wedding party stood surrounding us as we said our vows,” Daisy remembered. “It felt very intimate.”
Adam’s Polish heritage had been honored three weeks earlier when the couple officially married in a traditional Polish Catholic Mass. For their Delaware wedding, they leaned into summer at the beach with seafood, oysters and crushes.

A Colorful Reception Steps from the Beach
Color played a major role in Daisy and Adam’s Rehoboth Beach wedding. Her bridesmaids wore individual gowns in hot pink, lavender, bright green and shades of blue, mixing shimmer, sequins, prints and texture.
Just steps from the beach, their tented reception was filled with flowers and greenery. Vines climbed the tent poles, while strands of greenery and suspended blooms crisscrossed overhead. Long tables layered patterned linens, colorful florals and natural textures beneath the greenery.

Pink Vera Wang, Heirloom Jewels & a Silver Second Look
Daisy wore a striking blush Vera Wang gown with an airy skirt and oversized magenta silk flowers sweeping across the hip. The flowers were originally designed to drape down the front of the gown, but Daisy customized their placement for a more sculptural silhouette.
Tucked inside one of the flowers was her late grandmother’s true-to-scale ruby and diamond bee brooch. The flowers also influenced the wedding’s floral design. Daisy saw peonies and garden roses in their shape and chose both as primary blooms.
Adam wore a white dinner jacket with dark trousers and an open-collar white shirt, a relaxed take on formalwear for a summer wedding by the beach.
For the reception, Daisy changed the fashion direction completely with a custom silver gown covered in shimmer. Sleek and fitted with delicate straps, the second look traded layers of blush tulle and sculptural flowers for head-to-toe sparkle.

The Best Decisions Were the Easy Ones
As an interior designer, Daisy felt enormous pressure for every decision to reflect her perfectly. At the same time, she was confronting all the things she couldn’t control, from the weather and timing of the seasons to whether lily of the valley would bloom that particular week.
Eventually, her approach to planning changed.
“The best decisions were the ones that felt easy, meaningful, and true to us,” Daisy said. “Once I let go of controlling every detail and allowed the wedding to reflect our real lives instead of an idealized vision, it became something far more beautiful than anything I had imagined.”
Choosing the Delaware beaches was one of those decisions.
