Clare & Will’s Northern Delaware Wedding
Bold color, dramatic portraiture, and timeless architecture came together in Clare and Will’s Northern Delaware wedding.
Classic wedding design doesn’t have to rely on neutral palettes.
Clare and Will embraced bold color, dramatic portraiture, and timeless architecture throughout their Northern Delaware wedding.

Bold Wedding Color
Bridesmaids wore rich emerald green and carried bouquets overflowing with vibrant pink roses, blush blooms, and soft greenery. Clare’s fitted gown shimmered with intricate beadwork, and a sweeping cathedral veil added drama and movement to the portraits.
These design choices were striking against the gray stone walls, dark wood, and manicured gardens, creating a fresh take on a timeless estate wedding.
The Moments Between
Some of our favorite wedding photographs happen between the big moments.

The flower girls walking quietly down the garden path. Clare catching one last look in the mirror before the ceremony. A quick kiss before the reception entrance.
These moments are easy to miss in real time. Great photographers don’t miss them.
We were drawn to this wedding, in part, because of Jana Bannan’s photography. Her approach captures the quieter moments between portraits while preserving rich, true-to-life color and the character of the setting.
Estate Portraits
Some of the strongest portraits come from the simplest moments. A cathedral veil caught by the breeze. A quiet pause on the staircase. A walk beneath the trees. Composition, light, and thoughtful framing do the work.
