Elizabeth & Brandon’s Romantic Winter Wedding in Northern Delaware
Golden winter light, candlelit brick, and hand-cut silhouettes guests took home with them
There’s something special about golden winter light filtered through sheer curtains.
Brick walls warmed by candlelight. Long tables layered with soft florals and textured linen.
Elizabeth & Brandon’s ceremony glowed beneath iron chandeliers and exposed brick in a rustic barn setting in northern Delaware. Barn weddings continue to hold strong appeal across Delaware, especially in colder months when wood interiors, candlelight, and softer winter light create a naturally intimate atmosphere.
Bridesmaids in soft blush stood against the warmth of the space, bouquets filled with garden roses, ranunculus, and deeper red blooms woven throughout.

One of the most memorable details of the night came through live artistry.
Guests gathered around as artist Emily Byrne hand-cut custom silhouettes in real time. Small portraits, carefully clipped by hand and mounted for guests to take home before the night was over.
At the same time, a silhouette guest book slowly came together page by page throughout the reception.
Interactive details like this are becoming increasingly popular at weddings, giving guests something experiential while creating keepsakes that last well beyond the event itself.

One of Elizabeth’s favorite vendors was officiant Laura Becker.
“She did an amazing job making sure we were always in the know regarding her officiating,” Elizabeth shared. “We still keep in contact with Laura to this day.”
