Set along the Choptank River, their ceremony embraced the natural landscape rather than competing with it. Lush blue and white florals framed the vows, echoing the tones of sky and water while adding softness and movement to the riverside setting. Designed by J. Starr’s Flower Barn, the arrangements layered hydrangea, delphinium, and textured greenery in a way that felt abundant yet refined.
Under a sweeping sailcloth tent, guests gathered beneath woven lanterns and café lights for a reception that blended coastal charm with polished detail. Watercolor linens, pale blue tapers, natural wood tables, and textured glassware created a look that felt curated but never overstyled.
Personal touches tied everything back to place. Custom watercolor paper goods referenced local waterways, and hand-painted oyster shell escort cards offered a subtle nod to the Shore’s heritage — elevated, intentional, and unmistakably local.
The evening unfolded with energy and ease, as friends and family filled the tent with laughter and dancing long after the sun dipped below the river.
