On the final day of summer, Aly and John celebrated their love at the picturesque Lewes Historical Society. Surrounded by family and friends, they crafted a day focused on what truly mattered: being fully present with the people they cherish most. A thoughtfully planned cocktail hour brought everyone together, setting the tone for a celebration brimming with joy and unforgettable moments.

Aly and John’s wedding planner, Katina Dawson of A Sweet Affair Events, was instrumental in bringing their vision to life. With the venue being a non-traditional wedding location, Katina’s expertise ensured every detail was flawlessly executed. “She truly understood our vibe as a couple and made everything perfect,” Aly shared.

The stunning florals, designed by Styled, added a touch of natural elegance, seamlessly enhancing the venue’s charm with arrangements that perfectly reflected the couple’s style.

Capturing every cherished moment was their photographer, Chuck from Anerino Originals. From their first kiss as newlyweds to playful moments like Aly’s veil catching on the steps, Chuck’s unobtrusive approach allowed the couple to stay immersed in their day. “He captured every moment beautifully without us even noticing he was there!” Aly said.

Aly & John’s Favorite Wedding Day Memory

Among the many incredible moments of their wedding day, one stands out as Aly and John’s favorite: their seated family-style meal. This intimate moment gave them a chance to pause, reflect, and soak in the love surrounding them. “It was a great moment to take everything in while being surrounded by our best friends and family. Plus, the food was so good!” Aly fondly recalled.
