Sky and Anthony didn’t treat their first dance as a formality. It was something they chose to invest in, and it showed.
At Bohemia Overlook, their September wedding took place along Maryland’s Eastern Shore, set against a waterfront estate just outside the Chesapeake Bay. Rolling lawns, expansive water views, and a stately white manor house, a defining feature of the property, created a romantic backdrop for this celebration.
Dreamy white blooms and soft greenery from Twisted Vine Florals kept the look clean and classic, paired with dusty blue bridesmaid dresses that added just enough depth and contrast against the neutral palette.

“The Dance Classes have been our favorite part of the wedding planning process,” Sky shared.
Working with Hearts in Rhythm Dance, the couple built something intentional. Not just a few steps, but a shared experience leading up to the wedding. The lift is what everyone notices, but the comfort behind it is what makes it work. That kind of confidence comes from time and practice.
Baltimore Sound Entertainment did what a good DJ should do. Read the room, keep people engaged, and make sure the dance floor stayed active. Eric brings a high-energy presence and the kind of attention to his couples that shows up in how the night unfolds.
These kinds of moments don’t happen by accident.
