Maggie & Ross’s King Cole Farm Wedding

Soft blues, patterned linens, and layered textures

Soft blues, muted greens, floral prints, natural wood, gathered hydrangea, and candlelight defined Maggie and Ross’s wedding design at King Cole Farm in Dover, Delaware. The palette appeared everywhere from the bridal party attire to the reception tables.

Bridesmaids wore a mix of solid blue gowns and floral prints in complementary shades of blue and green, creating a coordinated look that felt collected rather than perfectly matched. Maggie’s gown featured sheer embroidered sleeves and delicate floral detailing that made the dress memorable from every angle.

Inside the reception, patterned linens paired with bare wood tables, crushed-texture runners, bud vases, and candlelight. Baskets filled with hydrangea sat throughout the space, adding color and texture to the design.

Wedding Planning Lesson: Not Everything Goes According to Plan

One thing wedding planning taught Maggie?

“Not everything is going to go according to plan and that is ok.”

It’s a fitting reminder. Weather is one of the few things couples can’t control, and a tented ceremony ensured guests stayed comfortable no matter what the forecast had in store.
