Wed Society | Delaware Volunteers at Food Bank of Delaware’s Annual Turkey Round Up
The Wed Society Delaware team proudly joined the Food Bank of Delaware for their annual Turkey Round Up event—an initiative that plays a critical role in supporting families during the holiday season. This year, our team volunteered at People’s Plaza in Newark on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The Food Bank of Delaware continues to serve as a vital resource for communities across the state. Through emergency food distribution programs such as community pantries, mobile pantries, home delivery services, weekend meal support for children, senior nutrition programs, WIC assistance, job training, and financial coaching, the organization touches thousands of lives each year.
Our Wed Society Delaware members, The Koordinator and Millennium Marriage, were honored to take part in this meaningful effort. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the hard work of volunteers, we were able to collect over 100 turkeys and 2 pallets of non-perishables for families in our local community—helping ensure more Delaware households can enjoy a warm holiday meal.
